Like many, I was delighted to hear the news that Microsoft Office 2010 has been Released To Manufacturing (RTMed), a curiously dated IT phrase that means the software is ready to be burned onto DVDs ready for sale in the shops. I’ve really enjoyed using the various Microsoft Office 2010 applications through the pre-launch testing phases and have been impressed by many of the new features. I’m a bit of an Outlook fanatic, but it’s the improvements to PowerPoint that have excited me most. At last we have a presentation package that makes you look as good as you can possibly imagine.
