Allister Frost Keynote Speaker

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Allister Frost Keynote Speaker

Are you looking for a speaker with experience in the manufacturing and retail sectors who can combine energy, motivation, and entertainment with real-world systems for long-term success?

Many business conferences and events have a half-life you can measure with a stopwatch. Honestly, how long were people buzzing with excitement after your last event? One week? A day? 15 minutes?

The value that a conference speaker brings should be measured by how much the audience changes its behaviour, not just on the day, but for the months and years that follow.

I bring three decades of experience as a leader at Kimberly-Clark and Microsoft, and as an advisor to world-class organisations including 3M, Cisco, Balfour Beatty, GE HealthCare, and Lloyds Bank, plus countless associations and membership groups. Having spoken on more than 500 stages in over 30 countries, I also bring unrivalled insights to help you plan the perfect event for your audience. Plus, I’m super-easy (and fun!) to work with.

My job isn’t to impose new ideas on your audience, but to reshape legacy thinking that may be holding them back. With every keynote, I seek to tease out the daily frustrations and thinking models that can drain our energy, and show how easy it is to embrace a fresh perspective of positivity and ambition.

And it’s all backed by my proven ReadyAlready® Growth Cycle (aka The FROST Framework), a bullet-proof system that will help everyone embrace positive change and create the bright future they and their colleagues deserve.

Get in touch to chat about your event goals and explore how we could work together.

“Energetic, engaging, and entertaining, packed full of Allister’s trademark humour, personality, and positivity”

Change fatigue is more than a team morale issue; it is a hidden tax on your bottom line.

Leadership in a fast-changing world requires a mental shift that replaces “threat-rigidity” with “possibility-thinking.” Allister Frost shares his framework for transitioning teams from the exhaustion of being reactive to the energy of being Future-Ready. By focusing on what the future needs next, Allister empowers leaders to revitalise their professional lives and save their teams from premature obsolescence.

Key messages:

  • The Future-Readying Process: Why Future-Readiness must be a continuous individual and team practice, not a “one-time fix.”
  • Reigniting Collective Belief: Practical leadership advice for sparking imagination and a shared belief in the magic of the possible.
  • The Proactivity Pivot: Creating the psychological safety and agency your team needs to seek out improvements before being asked.

Traditional “change management” is no longer enough; we must create the human energy needed to keep up and thrive through it.

For HR and People leaders, Allister explores how to embed a Future-Ready Mindset into the heart of an organisation’s culture. This strategic session provides a roadmap to move from a reactive “fix-it” mentality to a state of Future-Readying, where employees feel vital, relevant, and secure in their professional growth.

Key messages:

  • From Retention to Vitality: Protecting your talent from obsolescence and reenergising their commitment to the organisation.
  • Cultivating Psychological Agency: Strategies for building the confidence employees need to lean into change rather than retreat from it.
  • The Human-Centric Roadmap: A framework for embedding Future-Readiness as a continuous practice, ensuring people maintain their relevance alongside evolving technology.

An IT upgrade is only half the battle; the real challenge is the human capacity to adopt and adapt to it.

As a former Microsoft leader, Allister Frost knows that deploying technology is the easy part. This keynote explores the intersection of human potential and technological evolution, positioning the Future-Ready Mindset as the essential operating system for a digital world. Allister shows how to move beyond the fear of displacement toward a state of proactive collaboration with technology.

Key messages:

  • The Adoption Gap: Why a Future-Ready Mindset determines whether an IT investment succeeds or stalls.
  • Harnessing Human Superpowers: Activating the curiosity and imagination needed to find “human-shaped” opportunities in a machine-led world.
  • The Continuous Readiness Loop: Moving from a one-off “digital fix” to an ongoing practice of Future-Readying that evolves alongside automation.

Reasons not to book Allister Frost as your Keynote Speaker

FAQs

How long are Allister’s keynotes?

It depends on your overall agenda and how long you would like Allister’s help! Most of his keynotes run for 45-60minutes, but some are as brief as 30 minutes. Allister often follows his keynote talk with interactive hands-on workshop experiences, where smaller groups spark fresh ideas using the ReadyAlready® Growth Cycle.

Get in touch as soon as you have your draft event agenda so Allister can offer advice about how best to plan your day and get the best value for money from his involvement.

Let’s talk money! How much does a keynote talk cost?

There’s no fixed fee for a keynote talk because every event is different. Last year, his in-person fees ranged from £0 (a local charity) to £28,000 (a long-haul business conference). Once we know more about your event and requirements, we can give a fixed price quote that includes all travel and accommodation expenses. The fee varies by event location and the agreed deliverables (for example, would like a short keynote talk or an interactive workshop with a book signing and 28-Day Activation kits and programme?)

Fees also vary across the year based on demand, so a smart way to get a bigger bang for your buck is to book Allister during quieter months, or even on Mondays or Fridays when there are fewer competing demands for his support.

What do I get when I book Allister?

Your fee will cover Allister’s briefing, preparation and delivery time, plus any travel, visa, and accommodation expenses. Many event organisers also like to offer gifts of signed books, ReadyAlready® Passport Kits, and other goodies to their delegates, so these can also be included.

Most importantly, you’ll get Allister’s famously helpful support before and after your event, plus his full attention and legendary energy on the big day! Subject to his onward travel commitments, Allister will be happy to support your event as much or as little as you need, so if you’d like him to sign books, attend a VIP lunch, or meet key people, just let him know during your pre-booking chat. If he’s at your event, he’s there for you. He’ll even help you put the chairs out if needed!

How can I book Allister to speak?

There are two ways to book Allister for your event:

  • EASY: Book through your Speaker Bureau
Allister is proud to be represented by some of the world’s leading speaker bureaus including the London Speaker Bureau, Celebrity Speakers, and Gordon Poole Agency. Speaker bureaus are experts at managing all aspects of speaker bookings, and also will provide helpful support and advice. If your company already has a preferred speaker bureau, you can ask them to book Allister Frost for your event. One of the benefits of working through your preferred bureau is that your booking contract will come from an existing supplier.
  • ALSO EASY: Book directly with Allister’s Team
If you don’t have a speaker bureau partner, you can book Allister Frost directly through Wild Orange Media Ltd, his own company. His team will handle all aspects of contracting and invoicing, and guide you through the process smoothly. Drop an email to bookings@allisterspeaks.com to find out more.

Can we record the keynote or stream it to remote delegates?

We understand that not everyone can make it to the room on the big day. Our standard terms prohibit recording so please request our prior written consent if you wish to record the session. Consent will only be granted where the recording is exclusively for internal use or for live streaming to hybrid delegates. Alternatively, if you wish to resell the recording or use it for commercial external marketing, please let us know so we can agree on a usage licence.

Will Allister customise his talk for our audience?

Yes. Your audience deserves better than a ‘canned’ speech. Once we are booked, we will arrange a briefing call with you to understand your specific challenges, industry jargon, and event themes. Allister will then weave these insights into his talk to ensure it resonates deeply with your audience and helps you achieve your event goals.

What are Allister’s audio-visual (AV) requirements?

Allister likes to keep things simple to ensure your event runs smoothly. He prefer to wear a lavalier (clip-on) or headset microphone so he can move around the stage freely. For slides, he always prefers to run these from PowerPoint from his own Windows laptop so he can control interactive elements like live polling and Q&As from the stage. Get in touch to request his full AV Rider here.

Do you provide copies of slides for the audience?

As a general rule: No! Why? Because a great presentation is more than a series of slides; it’s everything that happens in the room, in the moment. And the best slides are just visual hooks, carefully designed to be so simple they can be instantly understood and digested. You won’t need copies of Allister’s slides after his talk, but he will want to share advance details of some of the other optional materials he can provide that will have far greater value to your audience. These include signed books and his famous ReadyAlready Passports. You can discuss these on your briefing call with Allister.

Where can I find your bio and photos for our agenda?

That’s easy! Pop over to our Media & Event Kit page where you’ll find everything you should need. If you need something else, get in touch.

Do you have a rockstar “rider”? (e.g. only pink M&Ms?)

Not at all. Allister is famously low-maintenance. He doesn’t need scented candles, a specific brand of Himalayan sparkling water, or a ceramic bowl of perfectly ripe avocados. A glass of still tap water (room temperature, never chilled) and an attentive audience is all the fuel he needs. Oh, and black filter coffee; he drinks a lot of coffee!

My speaker bureau recommended you, but can I book direct?

We love working with our speaker bureau partners, and they have recommended Allister for a good reason! Please book through the bureau that first recommended Allister to you. We’ll work closely with them—and you—to create a memorable, mind-shifting experience for your audience. By working through your favourite bureau, you get the best of both worlds.

Do we need to book your travel/flights and hotel?

To save you the admin headache, we typically handle all of Allister’s travel arrangements and add the expenses to your invoice. We can either invoice you separately for these costs after your event (receipts provided) or we can agree a Fixed Travel Buyout (FTB) in advance where we will invoice an agreed amount to cover likely travel costs. 90% of Allister’s direct bookings include a FTB as this simplifies the admin for you and gives you a guaranteed fixed cost well in advance of your event.

If your organisation requires you to book travel through a specific portal, we are happy to work with that so you can book Allister’s travel and hotel directly.

Do you even own a tie? We’ve only seen you in colourful ‘shackets’!

Allister does own a few suits and ties, and enjoys dressing up for formal events. However, he believes the future is bright, so likes to dress to match. We describe his sartorial style as “smart-creative / dad-vibes” but you can call it whatever you like! Allister likes to bring energy and colour to your stage, not look like he’s there to audit your Tax Records.

What happens if you have to cancel?

In over 15 years of speaking, Allister has never missed an event. He once went to the wrong address, but only because the client made a mistake, and this was quickly rectified with a fast-paced taxi ride! Problems like this are extremely rare thanks to our rigorous booking process. Should a genuine force majeure emergency occur, Allister is part of a tight-knit network of professional speakers. He will work with you to help you secure a high-quality replacement who matches your event’s tone and budget.

We’re broke! Will you speak for free?

Allister helps selected not-for-profit groups and aims to speak pro bono six times each year. His current focus is on supporting the social care sector. Pro bono slots can be booked no more than 8 weeks in advance and are exclusively available when booked directly through Wild Orange Media. Your NFP will only be billed for travel and accommodation costs incurred where these exceed £100.

If your NFP would love to tap into Allister’s experience but is working with a budget of hope and borrowed paperclips, get in touch.

Why is Allister’s name so difficult to spell?

We’ve seen everything over the years. Alistair Frost, Alastair Frost, Alasdair Frost, Allyster Fraust, Alice Frost, and our favourite, All-Star Frost (thank you autocorrect!).

But the correct spelling is Allister Frost.

And, no, we don’t know why it’s spelled that way. Even he spells it wrongly some days!

The pronunciation is simple though. It’s “AL-iss-tuh”.

FUN FACT: Allister Frost knows only one other Allister Frost and, confusingly, that Allister Frost worked at Microsoft in the UK at the exact same time as this Allister Frost. What are the chances?!

On LinkedIn, the correct Allister Frost is this guy: https://www.linkedin.com/in/allisterspeaks/

(If you know or are an Allister Frost, please get in touch. Maybe we could host an Allister Frost party one day and compare misspellings)
