Embrace reviews to make sad customers happy

Every once in a while you read something and think “why didn’t I write that?”

I just had one of those moments reading Steve Olenski’s excellent riff on why marketers have to embrace the customer review culture with open arms.

As those of you who know me will understand, I don’t always have the wisdom to bite my tongue, so I apologise if I’ve ever given you the harsh truth that Steve WANTS to deliver but doesn’t actually say.

Even so, no matter how good or bad your stuff is, if you fail to hear and acknowledge feedback or worse, seek to control the conversation, we both know how painful it could be if the problems you store up today come back to bite you in the future.
