Marketing Ethics Interview on Cambridge Marketing Review

Shortly after giving a recent keynote speech for the Chartered Institute of Marketing at their annual Digital Conference in Cambridge I was interviewed by Kiran Kapur of Star 107.9 FM. My talk had been about the importance of marketing ethics and transparency, and the CIM’s Keep Social Honest campaign, and that’s exactly what Kiran wanted to know more about.

You can hear the interview below, from around the 19 min 40 secs point in the show.

We talked about click farms, the temptation to buy fans and followers, the Blemish Effect, and the urgent need for all marketers to embrace the highest ethical standards. I’ll also be delivering a brand new training programme for the CIM on this topic, starting in September, and registration is now open here.
